I miss the west coast so much……

Took the dog for a walk today in the woods and stumbled upon some puddles.

Katie and I took a trip up to the White Mountains a few weeks back. It was unbelievable. The color of the leaves was so intense that they almost looked fake. It was definitely one of the prettier things I’ve ever seen.

From an assignment this evening covering a doctor’s retirement party.

In New England there are stone walls everywhere. There’s one that runs through the forest behind my house. I assume that at one time they were the boundary markers used by landowners. Here’s my first take at it. I really want to get back out there soon and try and find a more visual spot to shoot from.

I’ve been busy lately going through the archives preparing for my website to launch. Everyday it seems that I find pictures I forgot I even took. It’s interesting to see how the way in which you see pictures changes over the course of a few years.

I shot my first Nascar race a few weeks back. Here’s a shot from the Target pit following the race.

Some shots from walking around in the cool blue shadows of dusk.
My dad came out to Bellingham, Wa in early September shortly before I moved to New Hampshire. We visited the Mount Baker National Forrest on his last day in town. The weather was awful and there was hardly any visibility as we got closer and closer to the mountain. We waited it out though and were pleasantly surprised to see this on our way back down.

From a recent assignment for the Concord Monitor.
