Mallard Drake Swimming
I was driving over a bridge a few weeks back and saw several ducks. They were swimming and walking all over the ice. I patiently waited for a mallard drake, the green-headed duck, to swim alone by itself and sure enough it did.
One of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken is of a mallard drake. It’s from way back in 2007 when I was walking through a park in Springfield, Illinois.
