Sunday, November 29th, 2009I’ve been looking at the sky a lot lately. It’s amazing to think of all that’s up there. I saw an iridescent cloud today during a walk. The colors are visible due to sunlight hitting small droplets of water or ice in the cloud. Pretty neat stuff.

The Cabin
Friday, November 20th, 2009As Katie and I get ready to move into a cabin in less than a month, I can’t help but think about a wonderful week spent in Ely, MN last summer. We fished, camped, sat around the fire, told stories, hiked, and canoed. It was beautiful. I can’t wait to wake up near the water again.

Thursday, November 5th, 2009Visions of home. They stay with me all the time. I grew up in the house where my parents still live. All of my childhood friends are still around. Home. It must mean something to everyone. I don’t know. I’m think of starting a photo essay on what home means to me.



Fly
Wednesday, November 4th, 2009I am amazed by flight. No matter how often I fly, the thought of soaring through the sky awes me. Takeoff is my favorite. Feeling of those powerful engines thrusting you back into your seat and looking out the window and seeing the plane leave the ground. Ah….
